Gerard Maguire has practised as a Solicitor in Portadown since 1988. He established his own firm in March 1999 having previously been a partner in another local firm.

The Practice has expanded and now has three Solicitors dealing in the various areas of laws specified to the right.

Gerard Maguire is a Principal Solicitor and a member of the Law Society Children Order Panel specialising in private and public law issues affecting children. This work includes applications for contact, residence in the private law sphere and care proceedings in the public law sector. This further involves representation on freeing for adoption. The Practice also deals with Separation, Divorces and applications in relation to Domestic Violence.

Gerard Maguire is also a Solicitor Advocate having achieved a Certificate in Advanced Advocacy through the Law Society of Northern Ireland.

The Practice takes great pride in customer service and satisfaction and to this end is one of the few smaller firms in Northern Ireland to have acheived Lexcel Accreditation. Lexcel is a quality assurance standard and is monitored on an annual basis. (It is the equivalent to an ISO rating).
